Great ideas all around Cheetah. I love how the penalty of screwing up the platforming ties into more effort for you. it could be possible to make some dynamic terrain as well, I'll have to think about it!

Sounds... pretty good. I just don't in general like the fact that you can die just by falling... even if it's really rare and you can control it to a degree.
A bit offtopic, but jumping and falling in games is always pretty weird, don't you think. Can you imagine running and jumping and then in mid-air deciding, oh I'm not gonna jump that far and adjusting the speed you're gonig at. You'd need some sort of jet engines to keep you still. Then again, if you made this realistic in games, it would be pretty dull. I know, cos some games actually do it like this.

Sounds like you need to play La-Mulana I played it on the stream last night and took forever to get used to not being able to turn in mid-air!
