I'm just curious, because I remember the loot feeling kind of underwhelming in the alpha versions. Like, I'd do all this exploring of the first area and find...A glove in a treasure chest. And that was it. I know the devs said they wanted to avoid a saturation of loot, but I felt like for what the game was, we just weren't seeing enough.
What's changed since then and now, if I may ask?
Question: How has loot changed since the Alphas?

We are in the process of packing more items into the world now. One of the problems with the Alpha in particular was the long branches that led to an item would make it feel like you did a lot of work for something that might not suit your gameplay style (the glove for instance). We're also putting food and some other drops back in so it should feel much less sparse as far as item drops go.

Awesome to hear man. It did feel unsatisfying to do a long slog for one minimal piece of armor, so I'm glad to hear we'll be seeing more rewards as we venture through the chasm.
