Suggestion about pixel rendering

First I'd like to thank you for your great work. I've already enjoyed the previous alpha and I know that Chasm will be a major title in the world of indie games once released but I have a favor/ suggestion !
I know that a lot of pixel artist love simple pixel rendering. But, like a lot of gamers here i've grown up with CRT TV. And on these a pixel doesn't looks like a perfect square at all. And I have to admit that I really don't like edgy spartan squared pixels.
On a crt the picture is more living and a dark pixel is smaller than a bright one it's more soft and pictural.
During the last years crt simulation has greatly improved and since this summer we have a really great shader called "CRT Royale" wich faithfully reproduces phospors and scanlines.
Seriously it would be really nice if you would consider optionaly add an effect like this.
Thank you for your attention and keep up the good work
Here's a reduced simulation i made to give an idea. It looks better with the real CRT Royale Shader.
