Why would you want them to be permanently killed? How are you farm cash, XP, and loot if the things you farm off permanently die?

Rats are a lot more annoying, especially those little tiny ones that pause at the most inopportune moment to throw your timing off.

So I changed the configuration so that it uses WASD and the numpad (figuring out the command for numpad was the hardest part). The problem now is that the text that says what key to press takes up to much room. The weapon slots just show a N and the little reminders show the whole name which gets ov...

Well, an alternate option, instead of having them add new shops, they provide upgrades to already established shops. Rescue the master sword smith and more/better sword weapons appear in the weapon shop.

I like the idea the shield is it's own weapon, kind of like in Dark Souls (I love how they treat shields in that game). Maybe give it a cool mechanic like, if you hold down the button you block with the shield, but if you quickly tap it you do a shield bash that can stun enemies for a second or so (...

It would be cool that; if you attack while running, jumping, etc. you'll stop but you'll have momentum that carries you forward in a slide. Could be very dangerous if you're not careful though. Though, that might be a strain to program.

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, or if it's just me, but because I'm using S & D a lot (and A occasionally) when I go into Menu I start thinking S is confirm and D is cancel so I'll end up throwing myself out of the Menu or wonder why I didn't leave the Menu.
