Ya the problem with putting an indicator at the health bar, is that if I am looking up there then I know how much health I have anyways. I was thinking something cool like a subtle red tint to the whole screen. Like Daltyn is having trouble seeing through all the blood and fatigue. That way instead...

Yea the big thing is the current state of the room you're in since its really just meant for save rooms. I was going to say repeat the "low health noise" every hit that happens during low health; but that wouldn't solve the issue of having audio off.. interested to see what the final solution could be here. Maybe making the screen flash subtly during low-health hits, and be able to toggle the flashing ...

The save points are classic plus it provides a bit more difficulty, haven’t you ever played an older game before? Only the gods can “save” your life not some fake autosave I'm not suggesting auto-save. I'd dislike that. It'd be categorically un-Metroidvania-esque. I'm suggesting "hibernation". You ...

Have you considered having a "save state" for a quick temporary exit? I'd quite like to be able to sit down for 15-20 mins to play, but generally can't because I can't guarantee a save-point etc..James wrote:Sorry, I'm afraid there is no autosaving, only save points.
