Re: Am I missing something in the catacombs?
Remember that room in the mines, with the BIG pool of water? The one with the "air bubble" half way through? Well, if you ignore the water and go down and left, there's a room with a gate you can't open because the button is behind said grate, along with a skeleton and a Transition Room Door. That's...

Re: Magic focused run
Been meaning to reply to this for days, but brutal work schedule got in the way. :( I've tried a run or two where I put a couple of points into Int after pumping up Str, but honestly, with the game as it is, I can't see a Magic focused run being all that worthwhile. You'd be trading the ability to k...

Re: Am I missing something in the catacombs?
Spoiler lite:
There's a path from deep in the Catacombs that takes you back to the Mines, to a small room that contains the last of the one-way gates (you know, closed gate with a pressure plate behind it). The final clue is on the body next to the gate-opening pressure plate.

Re: Alpha Access
Same here. My Humble page only gives a Forum Access code and links to the soundtracks. Chasm does not appear on Steam if i search for it (Early Access or not). I'm assuming there's been some miscommunication or Steam is just being Steam.

Re: Add a Third "Action" Button
Diablo II (and III)'s system was to let you equip an item to your main hand and off hand, hit a button to swap to change to"load out #2" and then equip a different main and off hand combination. You could then hit the "swap" button whenever to switch between the two main/offhand combinations. Exampl...

Sleeping on the bed restores health and mana, if memory serves. And it's free!

Re: Bats are hella annoying
Well, let's see here.. 1) This "demo" is actually more of a "proof of concept" build that was literally thrown together in a few weeks' time out of existing assets for the sole purpose (originally) of being shown off on the floor of this years' GDC (Game Developer's Conference). As such, it lacks a ...

Re: Silly question: will there be save functionality?
That reminds of all the YouTub videos I watched of people that would go back to town and buy food from the Innkeeper, completely oblivious to the fact that there was a bed upstairs.

Re: Kickstarter
Congrats, guys! Just before 1 AM (CST), 5363 backers, exactly $150,000! Now let's hope we can reach some stretch goals, eh? Crafting and Roguelike mode have me drooling, how about you guys? *edit* and to think I started the day off by worrying about if you guys were gonna be able to keep up the $2.5...

They went from needing to average about $2.2k per day for the last 6 days to needing to average less than $600 per day. I hope James and company are breathing some well-deserved sighs of relief.Zaxoth wrote:Under 3k left to meet the goal.
