That door opens, but from the Gardens side. If anything, perhaps the map should not tell where the shortcut leads to until it is open.

And I forgot to mention I hate where the canary is placed in the village. I think it should be near the campfire, and not at the end of the village, because at this point of the game nobody is entering the dungeon through the Mines anymore. Also, unlocking new villages is nice and all... but to reac...

What about having something different as an indicator? For example a blue bird will come to the boss room once the boss is at its half of health. And another bird once the boss is at its 1/4 of health. Or from the ground a bigger flower or small tree will grow. Or perhaps in the background some wild...

Tried magic focused run. While the bosses indeed died really quickly, the nrmal gameplay was a pain. But I blame no weapon drops by for this. I went to the Catacombs with the starting sword and Str 9. If the weapon drops could be more frequent, I perhaps could have a better melee weapon by this poin...

Yeah, I know about which room You are talking about. I used it a couple of times as a shortcut to the campfire. Hmm... perhaps I missed that clue, because in my current runs I'm generally ignoring the skeletons...

I will check again that room.

Spoiler lite: There's a path from deep in the Catacombs that takes you back to the Mines, to a small room that contains the last of the one-way gates (you know, closed gate with a pressure plate behind it). Change the function of the "ENTER" key

So the Enter key will be used only to Pause and unpause the game.

I really hate when I click the ENTER key to pause the game, and when I click it again instead of going back to the game, I'm going into the Equipment.

There's already an action button, there's no need for the ENTER key to mimic it.
