Is there a need for this backer to update anything?

I just got word that Chasm has a release date, this is good news. I had fun with the pre-alpha build, and was afraid that development got permanently stuck.

Since I contributed to the kickstarter I have graduated from graduate school. I don't remember what I filled out in the survey but it is probably outdated by now. What would be the best plan of action?

You should be fine if you already redeemed your Steam key. It will update to the Beta and final version once they roll around. You can also check your digital fulfillment by using the Humble Order Resender with your Kickstarter email address. Just let us know if you need anything else!
