So Tyrion changed his name to Daltyn. Is it a permanent change? Or perhaps players will be able to change the name of the main hero? I feel that Tyrion was a much better name than Daltyn...

I think the character has actually been called Daltyn for a long time, despite what the initial prototype said... but to answer your question, when the Hive Jump folks played Chasm on their stream recently, the build had an option to enter the player's name. So you should be able to put whatever you want.*
