Did you know about this online translation tool: https://poeditor.com/? It could really help with your german translation. It has a free limit of 1000 strings but also a free trial of 10 days with no limits. It works really nice, I recommend it.

just discovered this thread, till now I've just read the Dev-forums. (; It's pretty damn nice to see people put efforts into Chasm (fan-trans, tool by Marcel...), cause I'm sure I like the game as much as them. So I want to offer a German translation: guess my language skills are on a propriate level and I'm well aware of Chasm.

What's the translation plan anyway? Still intended only for the final version?

We'll definitely be supporting fan translations down the line, but it's still a little too early to start thinking about it yet. Probably this winter we'll start thinking about the tools and stuff required.
