Well, on the surface there is the gypsy hut, black smith house, miner hut, the tavern, and the unwanted well. Why not make use of the well? Perhaps at one point the well is unlocked. I do agree with the jumping. I felt it was pretty high up, but I'm not very picky. I feel like the prettier animations could be a last minute add on. As I said above, I'm not very picky, so I didn't really noticed.
