Re: statistic mismatch bug

As you can see from that previous image, the UI is telling me I will gain 15(!) damage from equipping this armor. The reality is that I was already dealing far more than 37, as you can see from this screenshot where I backed out of the screen in the previous one (without equipping the armor) and att...

statistic mismatch bug

I did post this to the bug forum but I can't find it now to add my screenshots, so maybe it is actively being worked on? Or was cleared because I took too long to add any more data, making the bug report useless? (I am a software developer so I would understand this) Anyways the bug is that the numb...

Re: 10 hours in: Feedback from a Backer

Most of these are fairly subjective but there are some points I agree with, some I don't, so I'll share a few of those opinions. Please note that I don't think you are wrong, just sharing my own point of view. Why is there no quick "Reload last save?" option when you die? I have not encountered this...

Sigh

I know I CAN beat Mortal in hard. I just keep doing stupid things and being too impatient to restart when I get into a hairy situation

Re: Consider Revising the Climbing tool

This image shows the stutter I was talking about when sliding past embedded ledges. This pic was taken while I was pressing against the wall. Immediately after this period of not-sliding you start sliding again for a moment before grabbing the ledge. Pressing jump during the not-sliding portion of t...

Re: Consider Revising the Climbing tool

I couldn't make gifs smaller than the itty bitty file size limit that had moving backgrounds so here are some images. This first one shows sliding down against the top of a ledge. Pressing jump at this moment results in jumping away from the wall, when usually at this point you are hoping to hop up ...

Re: Icons or notes for map markers

Seconded. As-is I don't find the map markers useful yet.

Re: Map seed: FFFFFFFF Impossible route in Temple

I am really impressed you made it to temple and disconnected a cube all without the flip! I love sequence breaking in games.

To that end, James have you guys considered letting the parachute reset on wall grab like the flip does? Kinda makes me think of Metroid bomb climbing.

Re: Consider Revising the Climbing tool

Ya i have noticed some platforming gets harder with the climbing gear too. I think if you hit a ledge with the bottom half of your body you start sliding down which is what usually gets me into trouble. The other issue is the embedded ledges. There is a little hiccup as some party of your body passe...

Re: Favorite NES game

Zelda 2 is also my favorite. I thought the attack-block mechanic was really clever and fun, even if it often devolved into repeatedly attacking knights until the ai decided to not block it. Mostly I really liked the challenge compared to other Zelda games. So many honorable mentions (including Astyn...
