I'm suggesting "hibernation". You pause the game, quit, and when you resume; you pick up where you left off. If you die after that, you'd go back to your last save-point. Agreed, I never really get poisoned and even if I do it never hinders a run so much that it causes death. Perhaps adding poison to a few enemy attacks like those green gloops the nymph plants would spice things up a bit? Also the Vipera Blade's poison effect is lack luster at best. 5 dmg every 10 se...

The switch required to head to the eastern part of the mines can be glitched by back dashing into it during the scene where the professor asks you to stand on it. Use DS4 tool. Make sure in game your buttons are set to "Letters" and not "Shapes" and make a new profile in DS4 tool named "Chasm" edit the mappings to your liking and enjoy. If you need any further help with this PM me and I will show you live on twitch.

Definitely hoping the drop rate gets a buff. There are a couple monsters that drop this item but none of which seem to be that regular. My best luck was with the red kobald. Keep in mind the worst part about this quest is if you've already picked up the officer sword.
